This is a photo taken in Batal, Santiago City. This is where my friend lives. We went there one time for a few days of vacation.

I love the skies here in these photos. There was a low pressure that time which gives the sky beautiful clouds. We went to fetch my friend here before going to Paraiso Tribu Vizcayano.

Paraiso Tribu Vizcayano used to be called Diadi Eco Park and Nueva Vizcaya Eco Tourism Park. This is a forest reserve and project of the local government. This is a resort facility where you can swim and camp. It is the aim of the government to make this a premium tourist destination.

This will surely bring you closer to nature. It is awesome to see towering trees and walking under rows of them along with other kinds of trees, flower and fauna. Listen to the sound of nature, smell the fresh air, walk among the creeks and have fun in their pools.

This is a 1000-hectare park located in Diadi, Nueva Vizcaya.

When we went there, there were only few people who were checked in. During the night time, we had the pool just for us to enjoy. One thing that the swimming pool lacks is a heater. If the night is cold, then the water is colder. The pool has two sides. One is 5-foot deep and the other is suitable for kids. While the pool was designed nicely, there is a concern about the division. Kids could easily and mistakenly go to the other side and this is dangerous for unsupervised kids who do not know how to swim.

There were only five us that night. The next day, more of our friends came and we swam and enjoyed our time in the pool until check out.

There are function rooms and various housing rooms and lodgings that you can stay here. There are also quaint and charming traditional huts available to make your stay more intimate with nature.

The huts above are some of the lodgings by the lake that the park has to offer. There is also a fishing site being developed. There is also a floating restaurant being planned. Flowering plants and trees such as palms surround the lake. There are hiking and biking trails in the park as well. During our visit, these other facilities are not properly developed. It also rained at that time and as you can see the lake is brown due to mud and it's slippery to go hiking on those trails.

Bird watching is also another activity you would want to consider doing. The eco park is perfect for such activity. There were different bird calls I heard during our stay and almost all of them I cannot recognize. Either that or just because I am enthralled with the environment that I am very relaxed and did not give much thought about those. The park also has farm animals and butterfly garden.

Paraiso Tribu Vizcayano is perfect for picnic, camping, retreats for family and for company, weddings and other celebrations.

Since this park is located on the lower part of Cagayan Valley River it is also named Lower Magat Eco Tourism Park. It is found in Diadi, Nueva Vizcaya which is around six hours drive from Manila.
