ICY WATER - Goðafoss


Dear fellow Steemians!
This is my photo for the weekly Tuesday contest #landscapephotography.

Iceland is the land of the waterfalls. You see them everywhere. Huge, small, wide, narrow, everything is possible. During winter time some of the falls are frozen which is a phenomenal appearance. In this photo you see "Goðafoss", which is located in the northern part of Iceland. You can view this huge waterfall from both sides. When we visited, it was really cold and you couldn't stand more than a couple of minutes next to the edge. Besides your lens was soaked with water after seconds...

    Too bad we did have bad weather the first couple of days. I don't own any ND filters. No cool waterfalls photos with long exposures :(
