Weekly Garden Series-Week 5
This is the progress of my garden. We are on week 5
The dragonfruit has grown a lot in the last week. I moved it into a bigger pot where it will spend the rest of it's life. Dragonfruit is a cactus and it has small thorns so you want to move it when it is small and keep it in that pot and location.
The Cranberry Hibiscus plant came back to life from the fall it had last week. I am so happy it survived as this is one of my favorite plants.
The squash/ zucchini plants are growing big and tall. The ones in the ground are growing wider and not as tall.
The tomato plants are growing well. I got the first tomatoes off the one plant. I replanted them all into bigger pots and put a cage around them.
I put the lettuce into another planter and they have doubled in size.
The green beans and the cucumber have been moved and the green beans have been put into a cage. they have almost tripled in size.
The luffa is starting to come out
That is the progress of my garden for week 5. Everything is growing well and I am having fun with a few experiments.
The lettuce, bock choy and the tomatoes are all bought from the store and I am trying to grow them showing that you do not need a ton of resources to grow your own food.
Thank you for stopping by for this weekly garden update post and stay tuned for next Wednesday for week 6.
