Weekly Garden Series Week 4
This week there have been some small changes mostly everything has been growing well.
It seems that the Morangia plant is coming back to life by growing a small baby instead of revitalizing the main plant. There are also some leafy lettuce that have grown in with it and a few other plants have started to grow. I am unsure what they are so for now I will leave them alone.
The Bock Choy has grown a beautiful flower and soon it will start to grow the pods that carry the seeds. Until than we will get to see this pretty little yellow flower.
The onion flower has partially bloomed. These are small white flowers and soon the rest of them will finish blooming.
All 3 tomato plants are doing great this week. They are getting too big for their planters and I think it is time they go into bigger ones. So this week I will focus on replanting them.
The dragon fruit plant is also getting bigger. It is time for this plant to go into a bigger pot where it will stay.
The leafy lettuce is growing real well. These are from the seeds that I got from the store bought lettuce that I decided to plant and let grow until it seeded. That mother plant has finished it's life cycle and has given me plenty of seeds to use this year.
The zucchini plants are growing really well and big. I had to move them into a seperate area so they could have more room to grow.
That is the progress of my garden for week 4. Everything is growing well and I am having fun with a few experiments.
The lettuce, bock choy and the tomatoes are all bought from the store and I am trying to grow them showing that you do not need a ton of resources to grow your own food.
Thank you for stopping by for this weekly garden update post and stay tuned for next Wednesday for week 5.
