sabin resort(pineapple statue)

in this picture you can see at the center the big pineapple statue..why is it there is a pineapple statue design at the center of the pool? will, this resort is called sabin resort located at ormoc city..and Ormoc city is known to have the one of the richest production of pineapple so that is why they used pineapple as a design in the center of the pool..
