Landscape with an old castle, Lithuania, Trakai!

Hello dear friends! Today is happy Tuesday Steemit, I decided to participate in the contest from @juliank and submit my photos on the theme of the day - Landscape. Here we are in the Baltics, Lithuania, Vilnius - Trakai. Or rather - Trakai Castle. In the photo there is a swan in front of the old Trakai castle. The truth is beautiful! Trakai is the ancient capital of Lithuania. Trakai itself was once the residence of Lithuanian princes, and now it is a small cozy settlement, surrounded on all sides by lakes. As they say - the castle Trakai has never been conquered by enemies, and was considered the most impregnable fortress of Eastern Europe. And the secret of such fine defensive ability is that the building on an island in the center of Lake Galve (translated "head") is located, and surrounded on all sides by water. Today it is the only castle on the island in Eastern Europe. It is the largest castle in Lithuania. On the territory of the castle there is the Trakai Historical Museum, where you can trace the history of the city. The date of construction of the castle is 1409.

Привет дорогие друзья! Сегодня счастливый вторник Steemit, я решила участвовать в конкурсе от @juliank и представить свои фотографии на тему дня - Пейзаж. Здесь мы находимся в Прибалтике, Литва, Вильнюс - Тракай. А точнее - Тракайский замок. На фотографии - лебедь перед старым Тракайским замком. Правда - красиво! Тракай - это древняя столица Литвы. Сам город Тракай когда-то был резиденцией литовских князей, а сейчас представляет собой маленькое уютное поселение, со всех сторон окруженное озерами. Как говорят - замок Тракай ни разу не был завоеван врагами, и считался самой неприступной крепостью Восточной Европы. А секрет такой прекрасной оборонительной способности в том, что расположено здание на острове в центре озера Гальве ( в переводе значит «голова»), и со всех сторон окружено водой. На сегодняшний день это единственный замок на острове в Восточной Европе. Он же самый крупный замок в Литве. На территории замка имеется Тракайский исторический музей, где можно проследить историю города. Дата строительства замка - 1409 году.
