Sunday on the beach. "Silver Island"

The "Isla de Plata" is an island of the Caribbean Sea that is located in the Guanta municipality in the north of Anzoátegui state in Venezuela. It has about 150 meters long by 30 wide and 5 meters high. It is part of the "Mochima National Park", as its name says, it is a national park which is located between the states of Sucre and Anzoategui that includes a group of islands that contain scenarios of bays, cliffs, white sand beaches, gulfs and many other natural beauties.

This island is preferred by the inhabitants of the north of the Anzoátegui state thanks to the tranquility of its waters and the beautiful landscape it gives us.

And as usual in my trips to the beach, I can not stop eating this delicious sweet known as "oblea". They will ask what is a "oblea", I will show them to you.

That is a "oblea". The "oblea" is a typical Colombian dessert and due to the proximity of both countries it also became a typical dessert in Venezuela. This dessert is prepared with two cookies among which there is a filling of arequipe or dulce de leche, and can also bring condensed milk, chocolate or candy rain, jam and other type of spreads.

Undoubtedly for me and my family, this is our favorite island.
