Is The Lamborghini Urus Really Just an Audi Q8 In Disguise?

When you put both of the vehicles side by side you really start to see the DNA shared between these two cars. They both are very angular and have a coupe like shape because of their slanting roof. The similarities don’t end there; at the front they both have slim sharp-edged headlights and massive grills that take up the majority of the front bumpers.

The only big differences between these two is the performance; the Audi q8 is based of the VW MQB platform and uses a 3.0L TFSI V6 that produces 336hp at 5000 - 6400 rpm and 369 lb-ft at 1370 - 4500 rpm, whereas the Urus is also built off of the VW MQB platform but uses a 4.0 L V8 that produces 641hp at 6000 rpm and 627 lb-ft at 2250 rpm.

In the end both of these cars are extremely fast, especially for suvs but with rising gas prices in Canada I predict that both of these vehicles and other large overpowered suvs in general will become extinct over the next 10 years.
