Lakers May Pass On Lonzo To Pick Up Fox
Last week rumors were floating that Lonzo Ball was going to need to 'wow' the Los Angeles Lakers to be drafted. The Lakers have the #2 overall pick in this years draft, after the Boston Celtics. Most of the conversation around the #1 overall pick has been silent. Instead, all of the focus has been on Lonzo Ball.
Well just yesterday, news began to circulate that Lonzo is slipping.
L.A. Wouldn't Pick Lonzo If Draft Was Today
Making matters a bit worse, is that the 76ers who have the #3 pick are also being advised to pass on Lonzo Ball. Jerry Coangelo, who runs the USA Basketball program, feels that Lavar Ball and others around him, make this a risky decision. But, to Lonzo's credit he did say that there is a good chance he turns out to be an incredible basketball player. He could be worth the risk.

I think if the Lakers drafted Ball he would be a huge distraction to the team. Also comments made by his father has impacted on what team will choose him and the fact they are marketing there brand of shoes for over $400 bucks doesn't help at all.
I honestly think Fox is a better basketball player, and will have a better star-level Impact: which is what the Lakers really need. I hear #Lonzo finally worked out today but didn't hear how it went.
