Lake Kaweah is almost full. Rain and more rain has pulled California out of a drought. Photography

in #lake8 years ago

Cycling up to Kaweah Lake was a weekly occurrence before my boys were born, so now I just take them for a drive to one of my favorite cycling destinations.

The Lake is almost full from all the recent rain.

The lake's marina was almost on the lake bed this last summer.

I'm @runridefly, and I would love to cycle up to the lake with my boys, but until then, we will make the drive.

Boys don't like to park, so I have to be quick with the camera.

Gosh, I love the pictures you posted! To see through your eyes is a magical thing! And would you look at those tiny little nom nom feet at the last one!
Thank you for sharing this with us all!

@poeticsnake, thank you for the kind comment. Daniel is always trying to kick Harvey.

I was talking to my wife about this exact thing. All our CA reservoirs have refilled back to 80% levels. Now are they going to lower our water bills since they raised them because of the drought? Doubt it....

@runrudy, the water bill continues to climb. Thank you for the comment and Steem On

Great photos @runridefly - that must be an amazing ride. The views are pretty awesome! And the last photo is hysterical! LOL
