Hidden Gem: Laguindingan

Before the town became known, thanks to the new airport that was installed right in the midst of it, Laguindingan was just one of those towns you pass by from Iligan to Cagayan de Oro. Well, this was for me, personally. I never knew the beauty that can be seen in the other parts of the town. Now, slowly, people are more aware of the beauty that it can offer. It has become the top coastal town of Norther Mindanao.

Below are just a few of the pictures of the shorelines of the beautiful town, taken by me.

So next time you land in Laguindingan airport, en route to Cagayan de Oro or Iligan, maybe consider dropping in some of the beaches of Laguindingan. It is not only a gateway but a real gem in itself.

  • Birhen sa Moog
  • Puting Balas (Moog)
  • Resort in Mauswagon (considered as Maldives in Laguindingan - yet to be opened to the public)
