Blue Lagoon
Well I guess the water is actually more turquoise than blue! This section of the river Kootenay seemed more exquisitely coloured than by the bridge, which we walked by earlier. Perhaps due to the sun vs shade ratio. Beautiful isn’t it?! In the mountains, you do frequently find this kind of turquoise blue water, due to glacial rock powder suspended in the water. This phenomenon in not unique to Canada, but is prevalent worldwide. Just gorgeous. Any glacially fed lakes or rivers around your place of residence?
