The Diary Game: How I Spend Saturday 20/09/2025/

Every weekend is for work relief, as workers and some ship owners do stay away from their normal duty to relax with their family at home; some run a partial time at work but concentrate on doing things at home.

So my own case was different; as I woke up from bed, I conducted the family morning devotion. After that it was 6:00 AM, and I went to the kitchen to start cleaning everything and sweeping outside. It was a little kitchen challenge, as I was so busy making sure the kitchen was clean and everything was well arranged.

After that I tried to make our breakfast. I prepared egg sauce and used it with bread. What was my happiness was that I tidied up the kitchen because from Monday till Saturday I was so busy at the shop.

In the afternoon, I was at home when my customer called me to come and check something on her clothes—that the shoulder is not sizing her and she needs a little amendment so that she can wear the clothes to the traditional marriage. I told her I didn't want to open the shop, but because of the customer relationship, I dropped what I was doing at home and went to the shop. She was already at the shop waiting for me, so I opened the shop and checked the clothes. It was her shoulder that didn't fit her very well because she has added weight.

I did the work perfectly and gave it to her.

In the evening, I was at home to prepare a meal as dinner, and I went to buy a neighbor and buy this ginger; my husband was in need of it. It was my surprise that ginger had been so costly in the market; I don't know. I checked it so that when my husband comes back, he can pay for the ginger.

I continued with the kitchen activities, peeling the potatoes; after that, I cooked them, and they were very fast to be done. That was 6 o'clock. I continued with the preparation of the local sauce so that I could use it to eat the potatoes. By 6:45 pm, I had finished cooking everything, and I bathed and did the same to my kid. We ate our dinner, went to bed, and relaxed while waiting for sleep to approach us. I thank God that my son took me first to sleep. That was how my day went throughout the day.
