MOTICHUR LADDU
Ingredients (cooking time -20 mins)
Besan -1 cup
sugar -3/4 cup
water -1 cup
lemon syrup -1/4 tsp
orange food color -1/4 tsp
cardamom powder -1/4 tsp
Baking soda - a large pinch
Ghee/Oil - deep fry
Nuts chopped - 1/4 cup
sugar syrup
Heat water in a pan over medium flame, add sugar stir until fully dissolved
when the syrup turns thick , switch off flame and keep aside until required
Preparation
- Take besan in a mixing bowl
- Add baking soda, food color to it
- Add water little by little and mix well to form a thick batter
- Heat Ghee / Oil in a deep frying pan
- Take a fine sieve, rub the batter a little at a time through the sieve over the hot ghee/oil
- Fry the boondi until they turn pale golden color don't overcooked, drain well
- Then put it into sugar syrup
- Heat a pan and add 2 to3 tsp of ghee and put nuts into it slightly fry and pour in the boondi mix
and add cardamom powder - And take the mix and rounded in small balls
(If boondi get no shape you can crush it in the mixer slightly )
