What is KYC?
KYC stands for Know Your Customer/Client is the process of a business identifying and verifying the identity of its clients. The term is also used to refer to the bank and anti-money laundering regulations which govern these activities.
Why does BlockEx do KYC?
BlockEx performs KYC on all participants in its market to create a safer ecosystem for all. It lowers the risk of fraud, scams and money laundering.
What do I need for KYC?
Proof of Identity: Passport or drivers license. Passports are strongly preferred, and we do not accept drivers licenses from most countries.

Separate proof of address: a utility bill or bank statement less than 3 months old.
I don’t see a button to submit my KYC?
The KYC form will autosave, just make sure all the right documents are on there.
How long will KYC take?
We are currently dealing with a huge backlog. It should take about 2–3 days. Thank you for your patience.
Do I need to pass KYC to participate in ICOs?
Yes. You cannot deposit until you have passed KYC.
Can people from my country register for BlockEx Markets?
At this time, BlockEx does not accept registrations from US residents on its platform. We also do not accept registrations from certain sanctioned countries.
