Kuwait City stadium barrier collapse injures 40 football fans
Many football fans have been harmed after a glass boundary crumbled amid festivities following a match held at a stadium in Kuwait.
The occurrence happened when Omani fans raced to welcome their group after their win in the 23rd Arabian Gulf Cup last.
"The obstruction went down because of weight caused by rushes of moving fans," state news organization Kuna revealed.
Oman beat the United Arab Emirates (UAE) 5-4 out of a punishment shootout at the Jaber al-Ahmad stadium.
Around 40 individuals managed "minor wounds" in Friday's occurrence, with a few fans taken to clinic in the wake of being harmed while hurrying to celebrate with players following their title triumph, the Kuwait FA composed on Twitter.
