Kurdish Independence Referendum in South Kurdistan

As you may or may not know a Kurdish independence referendum was held on 25 September in South Kurdistan (current northern Irak).

According to the Kurdish election commission's official results, an overwhelming majority of the inhabitants in the Kurdistan autonomous region voted in favor of the independence. There was a turnout of 72%, 92,73% out of the 3305925 votes were for "yes" and only 7,27% were for "no".

Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi deemed the Kurdish referendum on independence from the Arab country as “unconstitutional", which is like saying freedom isn't mentioned in the initial slave contract.

Days before the referendum, Iran suspended flights to and from the Kurdish region to its territory.

The Turkish President Erdogan threatened to close the oil pipeline, carrying crude from the region to the Mediterranean, demanding the Kurdish officials to abandon this adventure leading to bad consequences.

There was a build up of military activity on the Turkish, Iranian and Iraqi borders. Iraqi and Turkish forces even announced joint military exercises. And yet, the referendum was held because it's an important step in Kurdish history.

Retards, conspiracy theorists and hypocrites are all oppose a Kurdish state, but all normal educated people know that the Kurdish people deserve and have the right to a Kurdish state.
