KUS-KUSS WITH VEGETABLES
If you're tired of traditional rice and buckwheat, try exotic couscous. By itself, it is neutral, the flavor is given to stewed vegetables
You will need:
- Couscous in bags - 2 pieces (or 100 grams of couscous);
- 1 zucchini;
- 2 tomatoes;
- 1 carrot;
- 1 onion;
- 1 Bulgarian red pepper;
- 3 cloves of garlic;
- greens (parsley, coriander, chives, onions), salt, pepper, red pepper to taste;
- vegetable oil for roasting.
Fry finely chopped onions and garlic in vegetable oil, add carrots cut into thin circles, then after 5 minutes - chopped bell peppers, tomatoes and zucchini.
Stew for 15 minutes, add salt, pepper (if you like hot, then 1 cayenne pepper), greens and stew for 5-7 minutes until cooked.
Cook couscous according to instructions on the package.
Serve hot couscous with vegetables.
