Exchange Overview

KuCoin have also created their own token, KuCoin Shares (KCS). KCS is not required to use the exchange however the token does have added in-exchange benefits to the holder in that you can earn additional KCS by actively using the exchange and being rewarded with a portion of the exchange fees in return for holding the token.

If you hold KCS, you will earn 50% of the fees the exchange makes after each 24 hour period (and per the whitepaper you can get paid in other cryptocurrency you hold on the exchange)
