THE MOOD OF SRI CHAITANYA MAHAPRABHU

I live for realizations of God. This is what makes me so very happy. I am willing to find myself in any situation at all as long as I can have realizations of the Lord. Consciousness. Realization and consciousness are the same. Krishna consciousness. Krishna realization. This is the Divine Form of devotional service. This is the ecstasy. I can not force this on myself or on anyone else. It is purely the mercy of the Lord and He chooses who He would. If I hear about Him from someone who has His favor, realization of Him, I become attracted. This is the attraction principle. Krishna is all attractive.

It has nothing at all to do with rules and regulations. Our dear Srila Prabhupada has told us that the regulative principles are simply to help people come to the civilized human platform of material life. Smooth running of human life. Same with varnashram dharma. It is material. Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu has come to actually distribute love of God. Bhagavatam has nothing to do with anything material. Not even religious principles. Transcendental is something else.

Under the direction of the three modes of material nature life is supervised by three empowered entities. Lord Brahma for passion and creation, Lord Siva for ignorance and destruction and Lord Vishnu for goodness and maintenance. Even Lord Vishnu and the maintenance function is still material. Simply maintaining is material. Mode of goodness.
Only the Lord Himself and his pure representatives can give access to the transcendental world. In this age in which we are living Lord Chaitanya is the incarnation. Some official acknowledgment of Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu is given in awe and reverence. But this is not the mood of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. Chanting the Names of the Lord in devotional ecstasy is the mood and form of worship and service. Mostly devotees are concerned with maintenance and the mode of goodness It is very, very rare to find an empowered devotee of Lord Chaitanya who is acting on the platform of spontaneous devotion. He can be recognized by his bodily symptoms and his realizations. Remember realizations and consciousness are the same. When such a person shares their realizations they are sharing their consciousness.

People all over the world will be celebrating the Gaura Purnima Appearance Day of Mahaprabhu this week. I pray the Lord is pleased to help us all transcend the mode of goodness and maintenance and enter into the transcendence in ecstatic realization of God.
