Someone Has Taken a Fruit. Very Nice.
"One should chant the holy name of the Lord in a humble state of mind, thinking oneself lower than the straw in the street; one should be more tolerant than a tree, devoid of all sense of false prestige, and should be ready to offer all respect to others. In such a state of mind one can chant the holy name of the Lord constantly." Shikshastakam 3

There is a grapefruit tree here. It was glorious this year in the amount of fruit it produced. Devotees came for 4 days and took the fruits. Maybe 15 devotees and they were able to gather enough fruit to last 3 weeks. The deities in the temple also got a big box of fruits.
It was awesome to see such a glorious tree. He gave the fruits freely and happily. This prayer describes, tolerant like a tree. Usually I have heard it said that refers to if a tree is cut down It does not protest. But here I see it is more than that. The tree gives its fruits freely. If I take one the tree does not protest, "Give me my fruit back." No the tree is happy. Ah. someone has taken a fruit, very nice.
When the devotee offers the fruit to Krishna that living being in a tree form gets a human birth next time. What a glorious time it has been the last 4 days collecting the fruits from this amazing tree.
