MORE LIKE A HERMITAGE

Great growing weather. Rain every day for a little while during the day. Everything is growing great guns. green, green, green.

How I am allowed to live in this paradise I do not know. Anything can change at any moment. for now... it is a very beautiful living arrangement. But it is not my house and property. It is more like a hermitage.

The garden is lush. Constantly in need of weeding since the weeds are growing nicely too.
Okra, kale, turnips, rutabaga, yellow squash, cucumber, watermelon, cantaloupe.

I used old carpeting to plant the vine crops. Cutting holes at even spaces and putting a few seeds in the holes. Working great for weed control and keeping moisture in the ground.

The crepe myrtle is in bloom with large white clusters of blooms that bees simply love. They are all over the tree.

Dear sweet Raktak dropped off a load of used bricks that someone gave him and has offered to make a walkway.

He also dropped off a bag of cow poop. :)

I had wondered what these plants would do and now I see they produce gorgeous lilies. Very fragrant.
