Here's where we're at

Here's the thing. There is a problem with a virus and people are getting sick and some people are also dying. Some people argue it is not all that serious. It's a virus like the flu. Not that it is the flu, but it will come and go like the other viruses. And others argue oh no it is very, very serious. Much more serious than anything seen since the WWI and the Spanish flu.
So while there is some arguing about who is right......
The other problem is even more pressing..
The panic...

It is like shouting fire in a crowded theater. Some people will get stampeded to death by others who are trying to get to the exits. There may be a fire, there may not be a fire. But there is definitely a stampede which can be very dangerous.
So keep arguing back and forth the virus is serious .. the virus is not so serious... but be careful not to get stampeded to death by people who just want to get to the exits and later look back and discuss how serious the virus actually was.
