The challenge for the aspiring lover of God is to be able to distinguish bhakti from shakti.
If they are unable to do this then they either become impersonal and throw everything out... shakti along with bhakti....
or they become entangled to one degree or another in shakti which can and does choke out bhakti like strong weeds in a garden.
