Illinois House Bill Amendment Filed To Ban Kratom

The fight for legal kratom continues, as concern grows regarding Illinois Public Act 098-0981 (passed august 18, 2014) vs. HB4106 (amended version), introduced October 3, 2017.This bill has been amended and introduced to change the current law pertaining to kratom. As of today (February 23, 2018),  kratom is only illegal to purchase or possess for minors under 18, and illegal to sell, buy for, or give samples to minors under 18.
