The world is your oyster #1: Scrapbook Contest

Here is one of the rules in the contest

Be as creative as you can be. You must not buy new materials to make the scrapbook.

So I planned to use my old notebook instead of buying a ready made scrapbook, and I'm glad that my little brother has some construction papers that I can use to make my scrapbook.
I chose to make some reflections about the gospel from the Bible . In this way, I can learn a lot and I can also get some wisdom on doing this.

Let's start! Here is the first page of my scrapbook.

I used the whole construction paper here and then, I put it on my notebook.

On the designs, I cut some strips of construction papers and I rolled them. Like in the picture below:

Then, I let go of it and bend it a little

The whole design used this kind of idea.

And for the flower part, here are the steps:
I also rolled some strips of construction papers

Then, I squeezed it, to make it like this

Next, I put another strips of green construction paper.

And that's it! I made 10 petals to make 2 flowers. Then I put some beads.

The picture right there was my old book mark.

Moving on to the second page:

I used some pop up technique in this one.
On the flower part, I cut 3x3 cm construction paper.

I fold this square into triangle shape, three times like this

After that, I cut the tip of it to make the shape of the petals.



Then, I added some design on it, to make it like a flower, and I cut one of the petals and glued it to make it round


After that, I made some finishing touches on the flower, I made seven flowers and I glued them together to make the pop up thing.

Let's see the third page

I just put the different colors of construction paper, glued them together and then folded it many timed to achieve the pop up thing. Then, I search some pictures of peacock to copy it.

On the left side, I made some "waterfalls", I got this idea on you tube.

I have just cut some 2x2 in. square shaped and then put them together on the green part.
And that's it!

Lets see the fourth page

It's a Christmas theme, I know it's very late to do this design, but for me, every day is Christmas hahahaha!
I got this idea on the YouTube, they gave the measurements and then I just followed it.

After that, I folded the rectangles many times, then I put them on the red construction paper one by one, and don't forget the star!

Let's see the last page

I used some dried leaves on this one. I made it as the last page for I have waited three to four days to dry the leaves.
For the circle part, i trace some of the dried leaves to copy its design. "parang yung ginagawa ng mga bata sa piso"

And that's my scrapbook! I didn't expect that I can make it. I'm very happy!
