Golf - Wedge shaft exchange / 웨지 쉐프트 바꾸기

플로리다는 이미 한 여름입니다. 새벽부터 나가 연습을 해도 오전 9시만 되어도 더워서 집에 돌아오고 있습니다.

It is already hot in Florida. I could not keep practicing after 9 AM due to hot weather!

오늘은 웨지 쉐프트를 바꿔 보기로 했습니다.
웨지를 자주 쓰다보니 그루브가 마모되어서 새 웨지 헤드를 기존 사용하던 쉐프트에 끼웠습니다.

Today, I have exchanged the wedge and shaft because the groove of wedge was worn out due to heavy use.

사용하던 wedge head를 분해할 때 재료는 vice, prybar, torch, shaft holder 입니다.

스틸 쉐프트는 고온을 가하면 헤드가 쉽게 빠지지만 그라파이트 쉐프트는 고온을 가하면 망가집니다.
그러므로 저온을 가한 다음 프라이바로 프라이바 끝이 0.380 인치가 되도록 자른다음 조심해서 밀어냅니다.
이때 페룰을 먼저 제거해야 합니다.
can use high-heat for steel shaft, but only low-heat to graphite shaft.
at this time, cut off ferrules first and then heat.
push hosel out by prybar to make the end 0.380 inch.

준비물 : 웨지 헤드, 쉐프트, 에폭시, 페룰, 자,
wedge head, shaft, epoxy, ferrule, ruler

헤드 하슬 안을 최대한 깨끗이 긁어내어 줍니다.
clean inside hosel of head as possible

하슬 깊이와 맞춰 쉐프트 끝에 새 페룰을 잘 끼워줍니다. 정확히 맞추기 위해 자를 이용합니다.

강한 에폭시를 사용합니다.
use heavy duty-epoxy

에폭시 믹스할 때 레진와 하드너를 1:1 로 믹스합니다.
resin and hardner ratio is 1 : 1

최소한 1분 이상 믹스를 잘 해야합니다.
need to mix well at least fot 1 minute

웨지 헤드 하슬 안에도 충분히 바른 다음 쉐프트 끝부분에도 잘 발라줍니다.
apply inside hosel of head and at the end of shaft

맞춰 끼웁니다.
