Memorizing Vocabularies through Hanja

A great way to memorize vocabularies.
It is through Hanja 한자 ,not exactly about Chinese characters but about how they help you memorize Korean words easily

Most of the Korean vocabularies are influenced by Hanja, so knowing a great amount of Hanja is pretty useful in learning Korean. If you know well enough you would be able to atleast guess what a word means correctly.

학 (學) = 배우다/공부하다 (To learn/Study)
Words that it can build:
학교(學校) = School
학습(學習)= Learning/Study (Korean study 한국어 학습)
학자(學者)= Scholar
학원(學院)= Academy
