Magic Monk Adventures魔術僧冒險記: Jeju Island (제주도) (濟州島) Day 2: UNESCO World Heritage sites: Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak (성산일출봉) (城山日出峰), Manjanggul Cave Lava Tube (만장굴)(万丈窟)

Here are a few tips for those of you who don't drive and are relying on buses to get around Jeju:

• Buses can reach most places but some buses have long wait times in between.
• You can use T-Money card on buses, and you can top up T-Money card at convenience stores such as 7-11.
• You will need to tell the bus driver where you are going. So make sure you have the destination memorized in Korean. Alternatively have the destination displayed on your phone, in Korean.
• Learn to use Naver Map and Kakao Map for looking up bus times.

濟州島上公車時間間隔有時候有點長, 所以如果坐公車要先看準時間. 可以用T-Money卡, 但還是得先跟司機說要去哪, 而且要用韓文講. 最好學會用NAVER或KAKAO地圖.

Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak (성산일출봉) (城山日出峰)

You can't miss this place. Bus stops are on the streets near the Peak, use google maps to help you walk towards the peak once you get off the bus.
公車站離日出峰不遠, 下了車後用手機地圖一定找得到.

Manjanggul Cave Lava Tube (만장굴)(万丈窟)

If you catch the bus and get off at the Manjanggul Cave Entrance Bus Stop, be prepared for approx. 3km walk. I walked from the bus stop to Manjanggul Cave. It was a long walk and there was no real footpath. On my way back to the bus stop I took a cab which cost 5000 won (approximately $5 US).
