최근 스파이더맨 영화를 보고 유니버스 영화에 대한 개인적인 생각을 정리해 보았습니다.
모두 제 주관적인 생각이며 이런 생각도 있다 하고 편하게 봐주시면 감사하겠습니다.

1. 스파이더맨 홈커밍은 잘 만든 영화였다.

세심하게 조절된 좋은 각본은 훌륭하게 마블 시네마틱 유니버스에 스파이더맨을 합류 시켰다.
그동안 마블 영화의 문제점 중 하나였던 악당 캐릭터의 1차원적 표현도 확실히 개선되어 더욱 영화에 빠져들어 감상했다. 영화에 어울리는 적절한 수준의 개그, 캐릭터의 상황에 맞는 액션, 다른 마블 시네마틱 영화를 염두 한 설정 등 많은 즐길 거리가 있었다.

2. 따로 떼어놓고 봤을 때는 어떤 느낌일까?

2008년 아이언맨으로 시작되어 지금까지 이어지는 마블 시네마틱 유니버스의 약점은 단편 영화로써의 완성도를 높게 가져가기 힘들다는 점이 있다. 물론 마블 영화에서 이런 영화가 없는 것은 아니며 개인적으로는 캡틴 아메리카 윈터솔져와 가디언즈 오브 갤럭시가 떼어놓고 봐도 잘 만들었다고 느껴진다. 가디언즈 오브 갤럭시 Vol.2는 실망이었지만....

아쉽지만 스파이더맨은 위에 서술한 영화들처럼 기존 마블 시네마틱 유니버스의 영향에서 크게 벗어나지는 못한 것 같다. 스파이더맨은 분명 잘 만든 영화이지만 기존 마블 시네마틱 유니버스의 내용이나 이후의 내용을 알지 못하는 사람에게는 재미가 반감되는 영화라고 느껴진다.

3. 자기 복제를 통한 비슷한 규격, 느낌의 영화가 나온다.

개인적으로 이런 느낌을 처음 받은 것은 어벤저스 에이지 오브 울트론이고 느낌을 많이 받은 것이 앤트맨과 닥터 스트레인지다. 특히 닥터 스트레인지는 다른 마블 영화와의 연관성이 쿠키나 중간 세계관 설명정도로 적었던 영화임에도 불구하고 마블 영화에서 받아오던 재미, 보고 있는 영상의 느낌이 과거 마블 영화에서 본 것 같은 느낌을 받았다. 이러한 느낌을 줄이기 위해서 마블은 항상 노력해 왔다. 첩보물의 느낌을 살린 윈터 솔져, 뮤직비디오를 감상하는 듯한 느낌의 가디언즈 오브 갤럭시등 다양한 변화를 시도한다. 하지만 큰 틀에서 벗어날 수 없기에 느낌은 항상 남아있다. 기존의 성공방식을 따라서 영화도 많이 나오다 보니 더더욱 그렇게 느껴지는 것 같다. 특히 가디언즈 오브 갤럭시 Vol.2는 재미는 있었지만 자기 복제+헐리우드 가족주의의 모습에서 실망도 많이 했다.

스파이더맨은 그나마 덜하기는 했다. 초보 영웅의 성장 모습은 굉장히 잘 담았고 흥미진진하며 극이 어떻게 진행될까 기대하게 하지만 어벤저스를 중심으로 돌아가고 있는 세상에서의 영향력은 영화 곳곳에서 나타난다.

”어떻게 성장하여 어벤저스에 합류하게 될까?“

영화 감상 후 친구와 같이 이야기를 하다가 나왔던 말인데 곰곰이 생각해보면 분명 재미있었고 마블 영화에서 느껴지던 자기 복제도 잘 느껴지지 않았지만 나 자신은 이야기가 다 끝나지 않은 것으로 느꼈다고 생각된다. 마블 시네마틱 유니버스의 세계관 확장을 위한 영화로 느껴졌다고도 생각된다.
이런 느낌은 마블 영화 외에도 최근에 개봉된 독립 유니버스 영화들에서도 보여진다.

4. 우후죽순 생겨나는 유니버스 영화들

마블의 성공은 같은 코믹스 회사인 DC외에도 여러 영화사들을 자극했다. 문제는 영화가 잘 나오면 좋은데 초기 세계관 셋팅에 영화시간을 많이 할여하거나 위에서 말한 세계관의 급격한 확장을 위해 내용이 엉망이 되는 경우가 많다는 점이다.

몬스터버스 – 워너, 레전더리 픽셔스
킹콩, 고질라를 베이스로한 과거 킹콩고질라를 재현하는게 목표인 세계관이다.
고질라는 영화자체가 루즈했고(아토믹 브레스 쏠때만 좋았다.) 콩 스컬 아일랜드는 나쁘지 않았지만 역시 끝나지 않았다는 느낌을 강하게 받았다.

다크 유니버스 – 유니버셜 픽쳐스
유니버셜이 가지고 있는 고전 몬스터 영화를 하나로 묶는 유니버스
올해 개봉한 미이라를 필두로 드라큐라, 투명인간, 늑대인간, 프랑켄슈타인등 많은 괴물들이 나오는 세계를 보여줄 예정이다. 드라큐라는 2014년에 나와 소리소문없이 망했고, 미이라도 망했다.

트랜스포머 시네마틱 유니버스 – 파라마운트 픽쳐스
그냥 시리즈물이었는데 4편 이후로 유니버스로 이름을 바꾸고 외전들을 준비 중이다.

이외에도 같은 세계관을 공유하며 유니버스라는 이름하에 연동되는 영화들이 많이 있고 제작이 진행 중이다.

5. 유니버스 영화에 바란다.

짧게 적자면

사람마다 영화를 즐기는 방법은 다르다. 이런 하나의 세계관에서 여러 이야기를 즐기는 것도 하나의 방법이며 나도 정말 좋아한다.
영화사가 영화로 돈 벌겠다는데 충분히 이해는 가지만 좋은 소스를 가지고 빠르게 벌겠다고 볼거리에 치중하고 세계관 만든다고 영화 내내 말이 너무 많고 안전하게 한답시고 자기 복제를 하지는 않았으면 하는 것이다.
하나의 세계관에 묶여있는 영화들이다보니 항상 변화를 시도하는 것은 어려운 문제일 것이다. 그러한 노력을 하지 않는 다는 것도 아니다.

다만 안정적인 웃음, 재미보다 조금만 더 틀을 벗어줬으면 한다.
단순한 세계관을 넘어서 뭔가를 제시해줬던 유니버스 히어로 영화가 한편쯤은 나와줬으면 한다.

마무리를 짓다보니 샘 레이미의 스파이더맨 2가 보고 싶다.
시리즈물이지만 독립된 영화로 매우 훌륭했고 위에서 말한 단순한 히어로 영화 이상의 메시지를 전달해 줬던 영화라고 생각한다. 모든 스파이더맨의 지금 마블 시네마틱 유니버스의 스파이더맨도 가지고 있는 ”큰 힘에는 큰 책임이 따른다“라는 대사가 있다.
하지만 나는 2편에서 메이 숙모가 했던 조금 긴 말이 나는 더 좋다.

영웅은 우리 안에도 있단다.
우릴 정직하게 하고
힘을 주고
고귀하게 만들며
죽는 순간 부끄럽지 않게 해주지

”그래서 가끔은 옳은 일을 하려면 가장 원하는 것을 포기해야 할 때도 있는 거란다.“

Recently I watched Spiderman's movies and compiled personal thoughts of universe movies.
It is all a subjective idea and I hope you have such thought and comfort.

1. Spider-Man Homecoming was a well-made movie.

A well-controlled good script wonderfully joined Spider-Man to the Marvel · Cinematic · Universe. One-dimensional representation of a villain character which was one of the problems of Marvel movie has also been firmly improved, furthermore it appeared into the movie and appreciated. There were many attractions, such as a suitable level of gag suitable for movies, actions tailored to the situation of the letters, settings with other marvel cinematic movies in mind.

2. What is it like when you look at it separately?

The weakness of the Marvell Cinematic Universe that started in Ironman 2008 in the past has a point that it is difficult to bring high completeness as a short film. Of course, it is Marvel film, not such a movie is not without it, personally, it seems that it made well even if Captain America, Winter Soldier and Guardians of Galaxy leave.

The Guardians of Galaxy Vol.2 was disappointing ....

Unfortunately Spider-Man seems to be largely out of place due to the influence of existing Marvell Cinematic Universe like the movie described above. Although Spider-Man is clearly a well-made movie, it seems to be a movie whose pleasure is halved for those who do not know the contents of the existing Marvel · Cinematic Universe or later contents.

Personally I received such a feeling for the first time in the Avengers Age of Ultron that I received a lot of feeling is antman and Doctor Strange. Although I talked like a friend after watching a movie, I came out, but when I thought it well, I could not feel the self-reproduction felt in the Marvel movie which was obviously fun, but I myself have finished talking a lot It is thought that it felt that it was not. 5. Points desired for universe movies

The way people enjoy movies is different. It is one way to enjoy a lot of stories with this kind of world view, and I also love it.

I will go to understand enough that movie companies will make money with movies but say they earn quickly with a good source saying that they focus on sightseeing and watching the world a lot of words, many words, safe soldiership self-duplication There is no case.

If you look at a movie that is bound by a single view of the world, trying to change constantly is a difficult problem. I have never done such an effort.

However, I want stable laughter, beyond framing a little more than enjoyment.
I want you to have a universe hero movie that presented something beyond a simple world view at a time.

I want to see Spider-Man 2
I think that it is a movie that conveyed a message of a simple hero movie.
I have spider-man of all Spiderman's now Marvel Cinematic Universe "great power comes Great responsibility".
but, I have two aunts Aunt a little long words I am better.
