최근 암호화폐시장 하락에 대한 견해, opinion on the Decline in the recent cryptocurrency market

암호화폐시장이 최근까지 상승하다가 12일 이후로 조정 국면을 겪고 있다. 많은 분들이 금리인상의 이유로 하락의 원인을 찾고 있지만 다른 원인이 더 큰것같아 내 생각을 적어본다. 미국의 금리인상은 작년 12월 15일과 올해 3월 16일에 있었지만 12월 15일의 비트코인 가격은 변화가 거의 없었고 3월 16일에는 하루가 넘게 지나서야 하락이 왔었다. 물론 금리인상의 여파가 아예없었다고 하긴 그렇지만 너무 과하게 하락한 면이 있다. 한국에는 프리미엄이 끼기 시작하는 바람에 덜 하락해 보이지만 어제기준 달러가격으로 3000불에서 2000불, 4일만에 약 33%가 넘게 하락했다. 내가 생각하는 하락의 다른 이유는 Bitmain의 언급 때문이다.

Bitmain은 어제 UASF에 대비하는 차원에서 비트코인 하드포크를 8월 1일에 할 수 있다고 발표했다. 상황을 쉽게 설명하면 다음과 같다. 8월 1일에 비트코인은 Segwit으로 소프트포크를 한다. 이 때 많은 마이너들이 Segwit을 지지를 하지않으면 BIP 148 UASF 가 실행되어 비트코인이 두 갈래로 나뉠위험에 있다고 지난번에 포스팅한바 있다. 거기에 Bitmain의 발표로 세 갈래로 나뉠 수 있는 가능성이 제기된것이다. Bitcoin segwit, UASF bitcoin, 그리고 Bitmain's bitcoin.

Bitmain 은 가장 큰 AntPool 마이닝 풀과 BTC.com 을 운영중인 회사이다. 즉, 비트코인이 위험해지면 가장 위험해지는 회사중에 하나인데 그런 회사가 왜 문제를 더 크게 만들었을까?

Bitmain의 발언에 의하면 UASF가 실행이 되면 12시간 20분후에 Bitmain's bitcoin이 만들어 진다고 했다. 그때부터 3일간은 Bitmain bitcoin에서 채굴이 시작되지만 3일간 Private하게 채굴이 된다. 따라서 Bitmain 만 채굴이 가능한 셈이다. 그러면서 3가지 옵션이 충족되야하는데 첫째는 UASF가 성공적이여야하며, 둘째는 Bitmain's bitcoin의 수요가 강해야하며 UASF의 다른 쪽의 힘이 약해야 한다는 것이다. Bitmain의 Jihan Wu는 Bitmain's bitcoin이 UASF의 방어책으로 만들어 진다는것을 언급했다. Jihan Wu는 왜 이런 플랜을 짰을까? 세가지정도의 이유가 떠올랐다.

첫째, 이들이 설명했듯이 8월 1일에 UASF의 힘이 더 강해질 경우 Bitmain's bitcoin으로 막아내겠다는 계획이다. 대응책의 일환인데 문제는 얼마나 많은 마이너들이 Jihan Wu의 의견에 따를지는 의문이다. 또한 개인적인 생각으로는 공적인 BItcoin chain을 사적인 Bitmain bitcoin chain으로 바꾸려한다는 느낌이 든다. 물론 UASF의 위험성도 존재 하지만 더 혼란만 가져올 수 있는, 그래서 Bitmain은 더 손해를 보는 계획을 왜 Bitmain이 하려하는지는 의문이다.

둘째, 예방차원이다. Bitmain에서 UASF를 막는다는 플랜을 공개하고 나면 UASF 지지자들의 힘을 빼 놓을 수 있다. 그렇다면 시장은 원래의 계획대로 Segwit으로 소프트포크가 가능하며 큰 채굴자 입장에서는 가장 안전한 방법이다. UASF의 불안감을 초기에 진압하기 위해 발언했을 수 있다.

셋째, 불안감의 조성이다. 사실 Bitmain은 라이트코인에서 재미를 한번 보았었다.

4월 9일쯤에는 Segwit에 반대하던 Bitmain Antpool이,

4월 22일에는 Segwit에 찬성한다. Bitmain 은 Segwit에 반대하는 모양새로 가격의 상승을 막더니 돌연 Segwit에 찬성에 라이트코인은 Segwit에 성공하고 가격은 최고점 36불까지 올라갔었다. 이번에도 Bitmain's bitcoin으로 시장에 불안감을 조성한 후에 나중에 계획을 취소해서 불안감을 해소 시킨다면 비트코인의 가격이 다시 상승할 것이다.

이 카드는 비트코인이 이더리움에 더 쫓긴다면 쓰여질 수 있다. 비트코인의 입장에서는 Segwit까지 1위를 고수하려 하기를 원할 것이다. Segwit 이후에 트랜잭션이 어느정도 해결된다면 지금의 39%의 지지율에서 더 올라갈 수 있으며 1등의 자리를 놓치지 않을 수있다. 그럼에 Jihan Wu가 어떤사람 또는 어떤 생각인지는 모르겠지만 쓸만한 카드를 남겨놓은 것이 아닌가 생각이 든다.

Bitmain is running the largest AntPool mining pool and BTC.com company. In other words, why bitmain is one of the most dangerous if the risk becomes dangerous, why did the company make the problem bigger?

Jihan Wu of Bitmain mentioned Bitmain's bitcoin is made of the UASF's defense. Why did Jihan Wu write this plan? There were three reasons.

First, as they explained, if the UASF's strength becomes stronger on August 1st, Bitmain's bitcoin will block it. It is part of the defensive reaction, but the question is, how many minors will follow Jihan Wu's opinion. I also feel that in my personal opinion bitcoin is going to replace the public BItcoin chain with a private bitmain bitcoin chain. Of course there is a risk of UASF, but it can only bring more confusion, so Bitmain wonders why Bitmain intends to do more damage plans.

Second, it is preventive. After releasing the plan to block the UASF in Bitmain, the UASF supporters may be left out. If so, the market can be soft-forked with Segwit as planned and is the safest way for bigger miners. It may have spoken to suppress the UASF's anxiety early on.

Third, the composition of anxiety. In fact, Bitmain had fun at the light coin.

On April 22, they agree with Segwit. Bitmain stopped the price rise in the way it opposed to Segwit, and suddenly it was in favor of Light Coin to Segwit and the price went up to $ 36. If Bitmain's bitcoin again creates anxiety in the market and later cancels the plan and resolves the anxiety, the price of Bitcoin will rise again.

This card can be used if the bitcoin is chased to Ethereum. From Bitcoin's point of view, they want to stick to # 1 in the market. If the transaction is somewhat resolved after Segwit, they can climb over 39%, which is the current rate and you will not miss the first place. So I do not know what Jihan Wu is or what he thinks, but I think he left a useful card.
