Steemina Storybook No.8 : Don't be slaved by Steemit

A german journalist, Christof Koch, had a question: which would be bigger loss or freedom, if we did not connect internet. Christof Koch determined he would not connect internet. He put his smartphone and LAN cable deep into a drawer. Christof Koch started analogue day, internet free life. Christof Koch proclaimed he would prohibit the internet. And he said it was easy challenge, thinking it was just putting the clocks forward 10year.
But it was opposite to what he thought. It was uncomfortable to leave internet world. In order to communicate with friends whom he could not talk with in face, he had to write a letter or had to use phone booth. Even, he forgot phone number in his smartphone. In order to book a ticket, he had to wait on the phone and in order to pay tax, he had to go taxation office. When he verified spelling or find movie title, he had to paper dictionary. All of these things were simply possible in internet.
Even though being far away from comfortable, there were lots of positive changes. Christof Koch wasn't be late at engagement anymore. Before he tried analogue day, he had saved massage and send when he was late at engagement: I'm sorry, it may be late 10 or 15 minutes. In past he had played smartphone in everywhere. But now he could talk with a stranger on the road. Christof Koch doesn't check the e-mail or internet-news habitually. End of the analogue day, Christof Koch put a record on the player, being retrospective with record sleeve.

After 40days of challenge, lots of things were changed. Impatience has decreased and Christof Koch spent half of a day in library being composure. Out of internet, he rest for a while in internet free times. Christof Koch said: Aspiring putting distance with technology and modern conveniences, I got what I had wanted. How internet is enormous, I experienced controlling the behemoth. In these days, we are addicted in speedy internet. Stimulating and driving, 'Speed' makes us frustrated when we stop for a while or move slowly. We should not be slaved by speed.

Steemin, no one know how Steemit changes the world and our life. Steemit could change our life more than internet. In which way our life being changed is not important. What is important is that we are to control the Steemit. Steemit can be changed in the way of we want and also Steemit can changed our life in the way of Steemit wants. Steemian, don't be slaved by Steemit. But be a ruler of Steemit.
