CoinEx has released a new EOS/BCH trading pair on January 29th, 2018.

What is EOS?

EOS.IO is software that introduces a blockchain architecture designed to enable vertical and horizontal scaling of decentralized applications (the “EOS.IO Software”). This is achieved through an operating system-like construct upon which applications can be built. The software provides accounts, authentication, databases, asynchronous communication and the scheduling of applications across multiple CPU cores and/or clusters. EOS tokens are ERC-20 compatible tokens distributed on the Ethereum blockchain pursuant to a related ERC-20 smart contract (the “EOS Tokens”), whose distribution will take place over 341 days starting on June 26, 2017 at 13:00 UTC till June of 2018.

EOS has an initial supply of 1 billion. Till January 29th, 2018, about 635 million EOS have been mined with a total market cap of about 89.33 million dollars, ranking 9th in global coin market capitalization.
