카페와 서점이 결합된 서점 인덱스는 건대 커먼그라운드 3층에 있다. 요즘에는 많이 볼 수 있는 형태이다. 일단 공간이 꽤 예쁘다. 무엇보다도 빨간색 인덱스의 로고가 눈에 확 들어온다. 책 큐레이팅이며 전체적인 브랜딩에 이 글씨를 이용했다.

The index for bookstore combined with cafes is located on the third floor of the Common Ground at Konkuk University Station. It is common to see these days. The space is pretty first. Above all, a red index logo stands out. It is book curating and I used this font for the whole branding.

'Beer & Alcohol' 섹션, 그리고 그리고 책 큐레이팅도 독특하게 하려고 한 것 처럼 보인다.

And it looks like the book curating was meant to be unique.

커피는 핸드드립으로 내리고, 나는 블랙티를 마셨다.

여긴 작은 독립서점보다는 비교적 규모가 있는 편이다. 1층에서 음료를 주문할 수 있고, 2층에 카페 공간이 있다. 인덱스 뉴스쿨이라고 토크, 워크숍, 강연 등을 정기적인 프로그램으로 운영해서 좀 더 일반적인 문화로 정착하도록 만들고 싶으신 것 같았다. 2층 카페 공간은 강연장이 되기도하고 전시도하고 가변적인 공간으로 사용되고 있다. 나는 첫번째 뉴스쿨 프로그램에 참여했다. 오랜만에 새로운 공간에 가니 기분도 전환되고, 늘 삶에 영감을 주는 작가를 만날 수 있어서 좋았다.

The index is relatively larger than other small independent bookstores. You can order drinks on the first floor, and there is a cafe room on the second floor. 'Index New School' operates talks, workshops, lectures, and so on with regular programs. The second floor cafe space is used as a lecture hall, an exhibition hall, and a variable space. I participated in the first New School program. It was nice to see a writer who always inspires life and changed my mood when I went to a new space after a long time.
