[주식 열공] 배당금과 배당락 에 관하여 개념
안녕하십니까 Go-to person (도움을 얻기 위해 찾는 사람) 에드몽당테스 입니다. 스팀잇 자체가 "돈" 과 "커뮤니티" 라는 아주 이상적인 구조아래 "세계화"로 뻗어가고 있고 거의 모든 스티머분들의 관심이 세계적인 돈의 흐름에 관심이 많음에 좀 더 체계적으로 "주식" 이라는것 에 대하여 알아보고 공부해보기 위한 시간을 마련해 보려고 본 "주식 열공" 칼럼?을 시작하게 되었습니다
오늘 "주식 열공" 은 주식 용어중 배당금과 배당락 에 관하여 개념을 정리 해보겠습니다 "경제용어 해설"과 같은 방식으로 쉽게 설명드리려 노력하겠습니다 제가 표현하는 글이 너무 딱딱하여 이해가 낮아 지는것 같아 좀 더 언어 순화를 하여 표현하려 합니다 (해요~) 거두절미 하고 바로 들어갈게요 ㅋ
배당금과 배당락 개념 알아보기!
이전 시간에서 배운 EPS(주당 순이익)와 PER(주가수익비율)을 고려하여 주식을 투자, 연말까지 보유하게 되면 결산이 끝난 후 회사의 실적에 따라 투자자는 기업의 배당금을 받게 됩니다.
배당금이란 말 그대로 회사의 결산 후 실적에 따라 주주들에게 나누어주는 것을 말하는데, 보통 순이익이 많은 기업일수록 배당금이 많고, 부채가 많을수록 배당금이 전혀 없는 경우도 있습니다. 따라서 회사의 실적에 따라 배당금을 지급하던 기업이 해당연도에는 지급하지 못할 수도 있고, 그 반대가 될 수도 있습니다.
여기서 배당금은 모든 투자자들에게 지급되는 것이 아니며, 매년도 주식 폐장일 전까지 주식을 매수하여야만 배당금을 지급을 받을 수 있습니다. 한국으로 따지면 주식 폐장일인 12월 31일 하루 전인 12월 30일까지 주식 거래가 가능하지만, 주주명부에 오르기 위해서는 최소 2일전인 12월 28일까지 주식을 매수하여야 합니다.
예를 들어 12월 31일이 휴일이라면 12월 30일이 주식시장 폐장일이 되는 것이고, 이에 따라 12월 27일까지는 주식을 매수해야 됩니다. 추가로 12월 30일과 31일 모두 휴일일 경우에는 주식거래는 12월 28일까지, 매수는 26일까지 완료해야 합니다. 여기서 중요한 것은 주식 보유 시작일은 중요하지 않다는 것입니다. 즉, 해당년도 1월 초부터 A기업의 주식을 보유하든, 폐장 직전 12월에만 A기업 주식을 보유하든 모두 배당금을 받을 수 있습니다.
또한, 부당 주식 거래를 방지하기 위해 배당락이라는 제도가 있습니다.
배당락이란 주주명부에 올라가기 위한 마지막 날 - 거래일 다음 날을 회사의 주가를 의도적으로 떨어뜨리는 것을 말하며, 당일치기로 주식을 거래해서 배당금만 받고 빠지는 경우에 대비하기 위해 법적으로 제정되었습니다.
예를 들어 기업에서 다음년도 4~5월경 배당금을 주가의 약 3%정도로 배당하려 할 때 배당락 시기에는 의도적으로 주가를 3%정도 떨어뜨립니다. 따라서 배당락 당일에는 주식의 대부분이 의도적으로 하락하는 현상이 발생하는 것을 볼 수 있습니다.
