Traditional Day- Visiting a Palace in Korea! / Sarayın incileri :D

If you're visiting Seoul this palace is a must see place! Gyeongbokgung is known as the most beautiful palace in Korea and it's the largest of the Five Grand Palaces. It was built in the late 1300s, and has been destroyed and reconstructed several times. There are English tours about three times a day for visitors to learn more about Korea's architectural traditions and court customs.
It's open until 5~6 p.m. and it's closed on tuesdays.
Entrance is not free, you should pay about 3$ but if you wear a hanbok(Korean traditional dress) you can enter for free. There are many places to rent hanboks near the palace.
So since I was dying to wear a hanbok... :P and this was a good opportunity to convince Büşra to wear it we rented hanboks before going into the palace :D But I don't know why, nobody asked for tickets in the entrance lol I think it was free that day because it was chuseok(a holiday in Korea) week and Büşra kept saying we rented hanboks for nothing lol But I achieved my goal! hahaha sorry Büş...

We rented hanboks for two hours and it was 10$ for each hanbok. If you want to wear fancy ones they are more expensive haha

We walked inside the palace for one hour, there was a spot that I really like in the palace, I went there two years ago and wanted to see again but it was closed, I think it was being reconstructed? So yeah lucky me... This actually happened a few more times since we came here, I really wanted to go to a cafe in Hongdae, we looked for that place for almost three hours then realized that it was closed and there was another restaurant constructed there... lol
Anyway, it was fun to wander in the palace :)
If you visit here, give yourself at least one hour to discover the beauty of Gyeongbokgung! :)

Olurda Seul'ü ziyaret ederseniz, Kore'ye gelip etmemek ayıp olur doğrusu, bu sarayı kesinlikle görmenizi tavsiye ederim :)
Gyeongbokgung Kore'deki beş büyük saraydan en büyüğü ve en güzeli olarak kabul ediliyor. Saray 1300lerin sonunda inşa edilmiş ve birkaç sefer yıkılıp tekrar inşa edilmiş. Turistler için günde üç sefer İngilizce turlar bulunuyor. Saray salı günleri kapalı onun dışındaki günler saat 5~6 ya kadar açık. Giriş ücretli fakat eğer hanbok(Kore'nin geleneksel kıyafeti) kiralarsanız ücretsiz girebilirsiniz, sarayın yakınlarında kiralayabileceğiniz birçok yer var. Ben bayadır hanbok giymek istiyordum fakat Büşra'yı ikna edemiyordum -Büşra çok aptal göründüklerini düşünüyor ahaha- fakat hanbok giyince bedava girebiliyoruz Büşracım diyerek ikna edebildim hohoho. Gel gelelim o gün girişte kimse bilet sormadı, sanırım chuseok(Kore'de bir bayram) haftası diyeydi. Büşra biraz laf etti tabi ama olsun ben amacıma ulaştım :D Hanbokları iki saatliği 10$ a kiraladık, daha süslü havalı bir şey giymek isterseniz biraz daha pahalı oluyor tabi :D
Yaklaşık bir saat sarayın içinde dolaştık, iki sene önce ziyaret ettiğim ve tekrar görmek istediğim bir yer vardı sarayın içinde ama bu gittiğimizde kapatmışlardı, herhalde tekrar inşa ediyorlar. Şanslı ben... Kore'ye geldiğimizden beri bu olay birkaç kere daha başımıza geldi, üç saat bir kafeyi aradık sonra kafenin kapandığını yerine restoran yapıldığını farkettik... :D
Sarayı dolaşmak oldukça keyifliydi, eğer buraya uğrarsanız en az bir saatinizi bu sarayı dolaşmaya ayırmanızı öneririm :)
