Soesokkak Estuary

[]

This estuary is not usually easy to find as a tourist destination but it is worth deviation from the established routes to visit it. We visited in winter and there were not many people, so we enjoyed this place in all its splendor. The nature here is extreme, it combines a pine forest and the sea back and a volcanic sand that makes the green of the pine trees stand out even more.

Manjang Cave

This cave is located northeast of the city of Jeju and was one of the conduits through which lava flowed, when this island was formed. It is the Natural Monument No. 98 of the Koreans.

This lava tube retains about 7km of tunnel travel and is one of the best preserved in the world. During approximately 40 minutes of travel, in this tube you can learn how to form and what structures are formed over time of a volcanic process. This tour is amazing, we will find different galleries and different rock formations, all the time accompanied by a dim and studied lighting, which will make us believe that we are on another planet

Jeongbang Waterfall

Catarata Jeongbang Sogwipo 2383031

A magical place, especially when it gets dark
We enter the Jeongbang Waterfall complex, which is located just in front of Seogwipo Port. It is a very well preserved walk and relax area, which runs through a valley between two mountains, which are now built. At the end of this valley we will find it. There you will see one of the most impressive waterfalls I have seen in South Korea. If you are going to visit it, consult the schedule of the park. Tip: From days it is a very nice place but at sunset, when they turn on the lighting, that becomes magical.

Visit to the Seoraksan Natural Park

The Seoraksan National Park, located in the northeastern Republic of South Korea is one of the most popular in the country. The ideal time to visit it is spring and autumn, since the temperature is moderate and the risk of low rain, in winter it is covered by snow and its access is quite complicated and in summer the great probability of rain advises against it. Access to the park gate is easy both by bus from Sokcho and by car, at the entrance there is a fee to enter. Once inside, around the access have a couple of temples to visit, a great Buddha and endless services. It is also one of the starting points for different itineraries for all levels.
