6/10(오늘) 예정되어 있던 Metal coin의 ICO가 갑자기 취소되었다.
Metal ICO which supposed to open today, is suddenly cancelled.

오늘 ICO를 오픈한다는 일정을 알고 있었기에 궁금한 마음에 홈페이지를 둘러보았는데, contribute버튼이 보이질 않아 이상하다는 생각이 들어 slack 채널에 들어가 보았다.
I was looking for 'contribute button' on the website and there was nothing. So I joined to slack channel to see what happened.

Thank you, everyone for your support. Without all of you Metal would not exist. Unfortunately, I have some bad news.

We are not doing a public token sale based on the advice from our attorneys. I am as disappointed as everyone here. As CEO it is my decision alone. I will not put any of my stakeholders, including any of you and especially US citizens, in any legal jeopardy. We will put MTL token on the exchanges as soon as legally and humanly possible.

담당 변호사의 조언에 따라 토큰세일을 진행하지 않기로, CEO인 자신이 혼자 결정했다. 조금이라도 법적 위험에 빠지지 않기 위해 미국 시민권자를 포함해 어떠한 투자도 받지 않을 것. 법적으로 문제없이 그리고 가능한 빨리 Metal 토큰을 거래가능케 할 것.

무언가 법적인 문제가 있어 보인다. 무얼까? 아직 정확히 해명되지는 않았지만 무언가 코인에 문제가 있거나 코인의 펀딩 방식에 치명적인 결함이 있는 것 같다. 다른 채널에서 추측하기로는 개인이 아니라 VC들한테만 투자를 받는다는 이야기도 돌고 있고...정확한 것은 아직 아무것도 없다.

There seems problem in the law. It is not still clear, but there would be critical flaw in the way of fundraising or in the coins, who knows?

수많은 ICO들이 열리는 가운데 이같은 ICO 당일 취소는 Metal 뿐 아니라 다른 코인들의 신뢰도에 영향을 줄 것으로 보여진다.

This cancellation can affect to not only Metal but also other coin's reliability.
