그 뜻의 의미를 알아보고자 합니다.

FOMO (포모증후군)

FOMO (Fear of Missing Out): 포모증후군은 놓치거나 제외되는 것에 대한 두려움을 나타내는 용어로, 가상화폐 가격의 급등락에 대해 특별한 이유가 없더라도 자신이 제외된다는 것에 대해 두려움을 갖고, 다른 사람들을 따라서 사거나 팔다보니 더 큰 가격 변동이 이뤄진다는 의미입니다.

FOMO (Feat of Missing Out): anxiety that an exciting or interesting event may currently be happening elsewhere, often aroused by posts seen on a social media website.

이 단어는 2013년 Oxford 사전에 등재된 신조어 입니다. 정보의 홍수와 같은 시대에 스마트폰의 SNS나 뉴스피드를 보며 정보를 수집하기 위해 노력하지만, 예측되지 않는 가격변동에 부화뇌동 하다보니 가격 급등락이 커지는 것 같습니다. 특히나, 상하한 선 제한이 없는 크립토시장에서는 더욱 그렇습니다.

In fact, the word was added to the Oxford English Dictionary in 2013, a brandnew word.
We have full access to information whether it's trash or real, so people never put their phones down and watch Twitter or news feed to get new information faster than anyone else. But the price moves unlike one's prediction, which makes people buy and sell when the chart moves. This is more so in crypto world since there's no limit in price up and down.

FUD

FUD(Feat, Uncertainty, Doubt): 겁, 불확실성, 의문을 일컫는 용어

FUD : Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt. Also known as scare tactics, either accomplished by threat or making the opponent doubt his standpoint. Not only used in lawsuits, but also in politics and military propaganda. (Urban dictionary)

FUD는 주로 short position의 사람들이 하락장을 유도하기 위해, 혹은 가격을 낮추어 낮은 가격에 매수하기 위해 퍼뜨리는 불안감을 일컫습니다. 비트코인 하드포크 등 불안정성에 대한 뉴스에 더욱 불안감을 가중시키는 일 등이 있습니다.

It's mostly used by the people in short position to putting more weight on uncertainty, leading to price drop. Currently, it's related to BTC Hardfork issue in November, making people fear and doubt.
