North Korea / My thoughts
So the World is going crazy with Kim Jong-un making threats to Countries everywhere. Why is the World so fixed on this guy? There is really only 1 way to take him out of his dictatorship. I would simply offer all North Koreans protection from the dictator. Anyone who wants to leave, then leave. Jong uses the tactics of his dictator father to hijack the World for one reason. Its to control his own people and try to elevate himself as some sort of god. So, Governments should offer the people there a better life, food, freedom, and peace. Remember, this dictator has killed many of his own people for things like being caught with dvd's, watching tv, and having a Bible.
Jong is NOT afraid of the United States. He is afraid of loosing his control and power over the people of North Korea. The North Koreans I believe have had enough. They want freedom from Jong, but are scared to stand up against him. Why is this? Fear. The North Koreans (majority of them) are nice people and want a better life away from dictatorship. Jong thinks he must kill people that try to sneak into South Korea. If he doesn't catch them then he kills their families.
Going to WAR with North Korea would be a very STUPID idea. His people would simply rally behind their dictator leader and he basically would become their god. NO. Lets back down and continue to really pressure Jong ONLY - Not the people with sanctions. Then when all this is being implemented let the CIA sneak in Millions of Bibles and dvd's into North Korea. Let him try and kill half of his population because they now have bibles and dvd's. They will eventually rebel and take Jong out themselves. He will fall. Lets let him fall inwardly. Let the United States and the World stay out of North Korea. The guy is insane, and insane people will fall. If need be let the United States shoot down any and every rocket that goes into the air from North Korea. Place a blockade on the Country (air, land and sea). He will fall. If he is crazy enough to try and rocket off a nuke, then it will be blown out of the sky. Its all on North Korea.

Upvoted, but wanted to add, I don't think we can avoid war with North Korea. China I think is using North Korea as a proxy army to distract from trade imbalances with the U.S.
I think the solution should be to evacuate Soul (spelling) and take 48 hours or so to destroy everything in North Korea. I wouldn't send in any troops or try to hug them when it's done. Just thousands of bombs and get back to fixing the trade imbalance with China.
I don't know. Lots of innocent lives would be lost. I like the hands off approach, and seek to topple Jong's dictatorship from within. Thanks for the response. Cheers.
I hear you the innocent lives part is pretty rough for sure, because we all know those in North Korea are basically prisoners. Really crappy options here for sure
I have no idea what's going to happen, but I really don't a war for the loss of lives, and another selfish reason. In a year, I will be fit for a military draft.
I am with you on this for sure. No to War is a GREAT thing. No War is a wonderful prospect. Cheers.
