55년의 행복을 지켜준 집~A house that protects 55 years of happiness

아침에 출근하면서 새삼 우리집을 보고... 사진을 찍어 본다.
29년 전 내 아버지가 새로 지은집이다.
내 둘째 아이(딸아이)가 배속에 있을때의 일이기도 하다.

아버지가 직접 설계하셨고 나름의 노하우(잠시 목수일하심)로 지으셨다.
이 집의 집터는 내가 3살때 내 부모님은 큰집에서 분가를 하셨단다.
처음집은 초가집으로서 안방과 마루, 부엌 뿐이었다고 한다.
내 기억은 초가지붕 (이엉)를 다시 할때면 할아버지와 큰아버지, 아버지가 함께 일하던 기억은 조금 남아있다.
몇살때 인지는 몰라도...
그때는 흙마당이었고 벼를 추수하여 타작할때면...
절대 동네아이들이 구슬을 치기를 하지 못하곤 했다.
왜냐면 마당을 평평히 고루게 해야 한톨의 벼라도 버려지지 않기 때문이었다.
이 글을 쓰면서 동네 아이들과 마당에서 놀았던 그 시절이 생각나니... 혼자 피식웃어 본다.

현재 우리 집을 지켜주는 검둥이다.
엄청 순한것 같은데... 낱선사람이 오면 짓느라 정신이 없다.
몇일전엔 밤에 넘~~ 짓어 싸서 잠을 깬적도 있다.ㅎㅎ

그래도 우리 가족들 한번은 실컷 포도를 먹게 해주는 고마운 나무이다.
봄엔 살구.. 가을엔 포도..모과도...아!! 머루도 있어요(뒷뜰엔)
내 아버지는 집안에 과실수 심으셔서
우리로 하여금 1년이 심심치 않고 자연의 고마움을 느끼고 삶을 나름 풍성하게 하신것 같다.

현재 아버지,어머니,내가 살고 있는 집이다.
55년전 내가 3살때 분가해서 우리 가족을 지켜준 집? 집터?이다.
내 부모님을 평생 단 한번 이사한것으로 이사는 해 보신적이 없다.
뿌리가 엄청 깊어서 누구도 뽑지 못할듯하다.ㅎㅎ
부모님께 감사하다. 55년의 세월을 지키신다는것은 대단한 인내와 노력이 있었으리라...
