개인적으로 오스트리아는 참 좋았던 것 같습니다. 개인적으로 소도시를 좋아하는데 같이 간 친구들이 적극적으로 절 여기저기 잘 데려다 줘서 혼자가면 보지 못할 것들을 다 보고 온 것 같습니다.
I personally take this trip as a very nice trip. I'd always love to move around small cities but I am such a sluggard to visit all of the must-visit tourist attractions all the time. Thanksfully, my friends who accompanied with were very enthusiastic to bring me all around. Thereofore, it was very valuable to go to the trip dispite it is one of the most expensive trips in my life.

그래서 잘츠부르크가 좋았고, 할슈타트가 좋았습니다.
할슈타트는 최근 한국 여행객들에게 유명해진 곳이라고 하는데, 현지 사람들보다 중국인, 한국인에게 더 잘 알려진 곳이라고 합니다.
Anyhow, no matter what that was, I loved Salzburg and Hallstatt.
Hallstatt has suddenly become popular for Korean tourists yet it is more popular among Koreans and Chinese than the local European and Aussies.

잘츠부르크에서 할슈타트까지는 약 66키로 남짓, 기차를타고 약 두시간을 가야 나오는 곳입니다.
It is around 66 km away from Salzburg and takes around 2 hours to reach there from Salzburg.
자 그러면 이제 할슈타트 이야기를 들려드리겠습니다.
Now, let me begin my story in Hallstatt.

How to get to Hallstatt from Salzburg!?

잘츠부르크에서 할슈타트를 가려면 일반적으로 기차를 많이 타고 가시는데요. 편도 티켓값은 매일매일 상이하기 때문에 미리 잘 알아보고 가시는 것을 추천해 드립니다.
저같은 경우는 잘츠부르크-할슈타트까지 가는 버스+기차 티켓을 인당 14.5EUR에 구매 하였고, 올때 할슈타트-잘츠부르크의 기차티켓 가격은 인당 27.2EUR 이었습니다.
뮌헨-잘츠부르크의 열차 가격이 12EUR인것을 감안했을때 엄청나게 비싼 금액이라고 생각합니다.

The most convenient way to reach Hallstatt from Salzburg is to take a train. The train tickets are varying day by day, and I do recommend you to check the price with the application or website (OBB)
For my case, I got a very cheap ticket which associates with bus and train to go to Hallstatt and it was 14.5 EUR / pax. However, the ticket price on the way back was such a disaster since it was 27.2 /pax.
The Bayren ticket from Munchen to Salzburg was 12 EUR so it was terribly expensive.

잘츠부르크 중앙역엔 매時 20분마다 할슈타트行 열차가 있는데요. 미리 예매 안하시고 역에서 직접 구입하실 수 있습니다. 기차+버스, 버스+기차, 기차로 가실 수 있는데 시간소요는 비슷하기 때문에 가장 저렴한 티켓을 사시는 것을 추천해 드립니다.
In Salzburg central station, they have bus or train to go to Hallstatt on every hours on 20 mins. Therefore, it is not necessary to buy the ticket in advance. There are various ways to reach there. For instance, You can go buy Train+Bus or Bus+Train or Train yet it will always take 2 hours what options you take. Therefore, just buy the cheapest ticket you can buy at the moment.

저 멀리 보이는 쉣덩이는 미끄럼틀이기에 여름에 오면 대박

할슈타트보다 작은 소도시 내 숙소 옆 선착장 (여름에만 운영함)

날씨가 좀 더 좋았더라면,,

할슈타트는 정말 정말 정말 작은 도시입니다. 변변한 마트도 없고, 레스토랑도 몇개 없고, 숙박시설도 대도시에 비하면 정말 없는 소도시 입니다. 하지만 엄청난 대자연에 둘러싸인 이 도시에 오신다면 하루쯤은 숙박하시라고 말씀드리고 싶습니다.
As I said before, it is a super small and tiny city. They have no grocery chains, and they have only several restaurants and hotels. However, I highly recommend you to sleep over a night here since the nature here is magnificent.

저같은 경우는 할슈타트가 아닌 할슈타트 맞은편에 있는 숙소에서 숙박을 했습니다. 대자연과 호수를 볼수있는 경관은 할슈타트에서 보는 것과 똑같으나 이곳은 더 작은 시골마을 같은 느낌입니다.
I stayed over a night not in Hallstatt but the opposite of Hallstatt. I am sorry I forgot the name of another small town but it is just a station away from Hallstatt or you can just go across the lake paying 2.5 Euro / time and takes 5 mins. No matter where you are, you can always see the great landscape of Hallstatt but my place was much smaller than even Hallstatt.

숙소는 에어비엔비를 통해 예약을 했지만 저희가 숙박했던 곳은 작은 마을에 위치한 호텔이었습니다. 소규모 호텔이기 때문에 에어비엔비나 호텔스닷컴, 부킹닷컴을 통해 투숙객을 받는 것 같았습니다.
I made a reservation through airbnb yet it was a small hotel in the town. Because hotels are all small businesses in the town, they have customers through hotels.com/booking.com or airbnb.

방 크기는 약 20평, 부엌이 있었고 침대가 3개 있었습니다. 가격은 하룻밤에 108유로!. 잘츠부르크의 호스텔이 하룻밤에 약 30유로인걸 감안했을때 만족할 만한 금액이었다고 생각을 합니다.
Room size was fair enough with the price because we had a kitchen and three bed with a living room. The price was 108 EUR per night. I think the price is fair enough comparing to the hostel in Salzburg which was 30 EUR per night.

할슈타으의 음식!

FOOD in HALLSTATT

네, 음식, 없습니다. 저는 이번여행에서 레버카젠이라는 빵과 빵 사이에 엄청큰 스팸같은 햄을 올려주는 샌드위치에 빠져버렸는데요. 10유로 이상씩 음식을 사먹는 것 보다 2.5유로면 하나 사먹을 수 있는 레버카젠에 빠져버렸습니다.
하지만, 할슈타트는 나름 생선구이로 유명하다는데요. 믿거나 말거나 2만 5천원이란 돈을 주고 사먹어 버렸습니다. 한국이나 태국에서 5처원이면 만나 볼 만한 우리 생선친구, 그래도 맛은 끝내줬답니다.

이게 레버카젠인가 그런데 혹시 독일어로 이름 아시는분?

네 맞습니다 2만 5천원짜리 생선정식.... 맛은 잇엇기에...

Yes, again, no particular food. I found out a very efficient bread which has a SPAM ham in between of the two breads. It is like a Sandwich. Here I have always trouble with my memory. I cannot find the particular German name of the sandwich. But it is very similar to Leverkasen?

지금 독일과 오스트리아는 윈터타임으로 바껴 한국과 8시간 차이가 나는데요. 자정을 기점으로 +1시간이 됬는데요.저녁을 5시에 먹고 나오니 세상은 어두컴컴, 자정이 된 것처럼 깜깜합니다.
Because Germany and Austria just get into Winter time, the time difference has become 8 hours. Onto the midnight, an hour was added to the time. When I went to have dinner at 5pm and finished the meal, the world seemed as if it is midnight despite it was just 6pm.

글쎄요, 그냥 소도시를 둘러보면서 대자연을 보면 되는것 같은데요. 여기서도 꼭 가봐야 할 곳이 있다면 바로 전망대 입니다. 케이블카를 타고 2분정도 올라가면 할슈타트 정상에 올라가 할슈타트 전경을 볼 수 있는데요. 그 대자연은 말로 표현할수가 없었습니다. 단, 케이블카의 가격이 학생기준 16유로인 것을 감안하면, 가격이 결코 싸지는 않으니 이점은 한번 유의해 주시고요. 특별한 경험을 원하신다면 소금광산투어를 하실수도 있습니다. 이건 가격이 좀 더 비싸서 케이블카를 제외한 금액이 무려 20유로였답니다.
Well, if you just walk around the small city, you will be able to see the authentic great landscape. However, if there is one place you must visit, it will be the sky walk where you can reach to the peak point of Hallstatt via riding a cable car for 2 mins. If you look around Hallstatt, you will be overwhelmed by the nature. But, the cable car costs 16 EUR with student discount so the price is never cheap. If you also want to have special experience, you can pay a visit to the salt mountain which costs 20 EUR excluding the cable car.

Why Hallstatt?

글쎄요? 사실 잘츠부르크에서 할슈타트까지 가는 모든길이 대자연이었습니다. 할슈타트만이 가지고 있는 특별함은 없던 것 같은데요. 블로그에 관련 글들이 많이 올라오고 유럽 여행객들이 많아지다 보니 유명해 진것같습니다. 놀라운점은, 할슈타트의 소도시를 걷다보면 대부분의 관광객들이 한국인들이나 중국인들이라는 것인데요. 이곳은 딱 아시안들이 좋아할 만한 곳인 것 같습니다. (물론 이런 대자연은 한국에가서도 만나 볼 수 있을 것 같긴 하지만, 그래도 좋았습니다)
Well, I dont know as well. The way from Salzburg to Hallstatt was all about the nature. Therefore, I though there was no particular specialty that Hallstatt has. It guess it has suddenly become popular because of the influence of internet and blog. Surprisingly, You will be able to see tons of Chinese and Korean tourists in Hallstatt. It should be a town where it is loved by Asians. (Frankly, you can find the type of great landscape in Korea as well but I was satisfied)

The Weather!

둘째날 날시 죻음ㅎ

할슈타트 여행시 날씨가 가장 중요한 것 같습니다. 제가 갔던 첫날은 무진장 춥고 구름밖에 없고 햇볕도 없는 날씨였는데요. 우중충합니다. 6시면 해떨어지고 그랬었습니다. 다행이, 둘째날은 햇볕이 쨍쨍하고 날씨가 너무 좋아 즐거운 여행을 할 수 있었는데요. 가시기 전에 날씨를 꼭 한번 확인해 보고 가시는것을 강추 드립니다!
The weather is very important in Hallstatt. The day I arrived in the city, it was full of clouds without sunshine. It was very gloomy. Because of the geographical fact, the sun was gone at 6pm. Fortunately, the weather on the second day was very good. Therefore, it is very important to look up the weather before going to the place.

또한, 할슈타트는 대자연 중앙에 있는 호수가 유명한 것 같습니다. 여름에 오시면 수영도 할 수 있는 것 같으니 여름에 오셔도 참 좋을 것 같습니다. (단 성수기기 때문에 호텔값은 무진장 비싸지겠죠!?)
Also, the lake is very beautiful and significant for the town. You can swim along the late during Summer. Therefore, I believe that it will be perfect if coming here during summer season (but the accommodation will be super expensive during the season)
