1. Rivetz란? What is Rivetz?

Rivetz는 사이버 보안 토큰입니다.
이는 하드웨어 단계에서 개인 정보 보호 및 보안에 대한 보증을 제공합니다. Rivetz는 블록 체인 기술과 통합하여, RvT 토큰으로 포괄적인 개인 정보 보호 기능을 제공합니다.
Rivetz는 이미 사전 설치되어 있는 신뢰할 수있는 실행 환경 (Trusted Execution Environment)에서 운영체제와 완전히 독립적인 개인 하드웨어 "금고 (vault)"를 통해 작동합니다.

->쉽게 설명하기 위해 핸드폰을 예로 들어보겠습니다. 핸드폰의 하드웨어에 TEE란 private한 금고가 있다고 가정해보면, iOS나 Android같은 운영체제와 앱들은 소프트웨어가 되고 핸드폰은 하드웨어가 됩니다. 하지만 이 TEE 금고 내에는 그 어떠한 운영체제나 앱들이 접근할 수 없는 분리된 공간이 되어 모든 정보를 안전하게 보관가능합니다. 즉 이 금고는 비밀, 비밀 번호, 열쇠 및 기타 개인 정보를 안전하게 관리하는 곳이 됩니다.

팀 인원은 총 9명이네요.

• CEO, 및 공동 창립자인 Steven Sprague : Wave 회사에서 14년간 CEO 및 회장을 역임했으며 사이버 보안에 있어서 상당히 영향력 있고 유명한 사람인거 같습니다.
• CTO, 및 공동 창립자인 Michael Sprague(둘이 형제인가 봅니다. 싸울일은 없겟네요 ㅎㅎ) : web 기술의 베테랑이며, digital micro transaction등 다양한 분야에서 일했습니다. JP Morgan, Citibank, Fidelity등 글로벌 은행과 일해본 경력이 있습니다.
• Sean Gilligan 기술자 : 30년간의 해당 분야 경험이 있으며 Apple 등의 회사와 일한 경험이 있습니다.
• 그 외 임원들, 부의장(Watership blue 회장, Rivet 부의장), 사업 전략 advisor(MIT fellow, system desgin 전문가)등이 팀 멤버로 올라와있네요

팀 모두가 상당히 연륜(?)이 있습니다. 장점이 될지 단점이 될지는 모르겠으나 확실히 전문성은 있네요. 장점이 더 많을 것 같습니다.

All members are old veterans. It could be pros and cons. I think it's pros because they all have professinalism!

4.로드맵 & 개발 진행도

전형적인 ICO의 Roadmap을 발표하지 않았다.

이 프로젝트는 3년전에 시작되었고 현재 베타 단계의 기술개발이 이루어 졌다. 보안 시큐리티 플랫폼을 위해 10억정도의 비용을 이미 투자하였다. 개발자 툴과 Rivetz 2FA(핸드폰의 OTP같은 2중 인증장치, 구글의 authenticator)는 이번 가을에 출시 가능 할 것으로 보인다. 머신 multisig는 올해 말에 가능 할 것으로 보인다!! 올해안에 다 마무리 할려고 하는군요.

또한, Rivetz 공식 텔레그램에서 CEO인 Steven Sprague가 많은 거래소와 지갑에서 이 토큰을 OTP처럼 사용하게끔 하여 보다 안전한 접속과 전송을 할 수 있게 노력중이라고 합니다.

Yes! The company has been building this product for 3 years and has the technology in beta today. We have worked hard to make sure that the Rivetz ICO is a utility token. It is not a security the token is used to power the attestation of the health and integrity of the service. The token is also used to help build and compensate the ecosystem that helps to build the platform for secuirty. We have made no changes in our current plan. It is important for all involved the we understand we are selling a product and the product is used to enable advanced security services. We are working with a number of exchangs and online wallets to support the token as part of thier access control and support a higher quality transaction than is possbile with just a google authenticator. The ICO is an inovative way to secure the resouces to deliver to everyon the secuirty the need for a strong crypto future where we do not have to worry as much about spam addresses our devices can verify, We do not have to worry about malware stealing our keys our devices can protect them, We do not have to worrry about man in the middle attacks or man in the browser redirecting a spend our devices can assure the address. No security solution is perfect but we can dramatically improve on the current models that ar hard to manage and are scary for customers. We are on plan and need to continue to build support.

6.주관적 평가 My opinion

RvT 의 가장 기본적인 기능은 보안입니다.

게다가 백서를 읽어보면 블록 체인 프로젝트뿐만 아니라 보안 지침이 포함 된 코인 거래소의 접속&전송, IoT , Smart contract 및 기존 Fintech를 통한 기본 클라우드 액세스를 지원할 것으로 보여 보안에 있어서는 가능성이 정말 무궁무진한 것 같습니다. 또한 사용자 뿐만 아니라 제공자 입장에서도 블록체인 기술을 이용하여 강력한 탈중앙화의 보안이 보장되므로 일석이조 입니다.

팀 멤버 역시 상당한 경력을 뛰어넘어 다양한 분야에서 오랜(그리고 뛰어난) 경력을 가지고 있기 때문에 긍정적으로 보여집니다. 또한, 미정부와의 계약 경험이 있다는 것에서도 상당한 신뢰감을 줍니다.

하지만 기술의 우수성과는 별개로 점점 간편화,단순화 되어가는 추세에서 굳이 구글의 authenticator를 놔두고 RvT토큰을 사용해야 할 필요성이 있을지는 의문입니다.(물론 다른 기능이 많지만 가장 먼저 런칭되는게 2FA 기술이므로 이 기능의 성공유무가 중요하다고 생각합니다)
또한 준비중인 탈중앙화 거래소들도 있는만큼 , 탈중앙화된 거래소 이용 vs 중앙화된 거래소에서 탈중앙화 토큰이용 중에 어떤것이 더 사람들에게 안전하고 편리하게 다가올지도 중요한 포인트라고 생각합니다.

이 모든 것을 다 극복하고 성공한다면 현재까지는 경쟁자도 없고 유용한 기술인 만큼 크게 성공할 수 있을거 같습니다!

The basic role is security.
In white-paper, they will support not only blockchain project but also exchange(such as poloniex), IoT, Smart contract and accessing to colud service by using Fintech. So the possibilities for this token are striking. Furthermore, Both users and providers are assured by strong decentralized blockchain technology.

Team members are specialist in various fields and their careers are outstanding in their fields. In addition, history of contraction with US government is important because it carries weight.

But, aside from excellent technology, I think there are no demands for using Rvt token. In these days more and more people are trying to simplify procedure and google authenticator has already perfomed well(Of course, there are lots of functions in RvT. but 2FA will be the first projects so it is important to determine success or failure).
Another important point is that which one is more conveninet : decentralized exchange vs central exchange with decentralized token

After overcome all these things, Rivetz will succeed because it is useful technology and there aren't no rivals
