Ep 2. Kpop -Um Jung-hwa and Sunmi
Uhm Jung-hwa (엄정화 born in 1969) is a South Korean actress, singer, dancer and lingerie designer. Uhm began her career as a chorus member of MBC, one of the three major South Korean broadcasting companies, from 1987 until 1990. She made her film debut in the 1992, film ‘Marriage Story’, and released her first studio album, Sorrowful Secret, the same year.
Uhm is considered to be one of the most influential women in the Korean entertainment industry, with many Korean female artists recognizing her as a role model.
She just released Part 2 of her 10th album(The Cloud Dream of the Nine) which now completes the whole album (Part 1 was released in Dec. 2017). The album boasts supremacy with so many great artists including Primary, Suran, Postino, OnePiece, Lee Min-soo, Jong-hyun(from Shinee, now the late Jong-hyun), Lee Hyo-ri and Kim, Yi-na, etc.
And my favorite song from Part 2 is "Ending Credit"
Producer Primary made this song and the sound and the lyrics fit the singer as she talks about her long career in the show business. I think Um Jung-hwa absorbed this song perfectly.
Can’t wait to cover Primary next time. (He collaborates with Suran, Crush, Zion T, Beanzino etc.)

The next is SunMi’s new song, Heroin (written by Teddy who belongs to YG entertainment)
SunMi (born in 1992) debuted in 2007 as a member of girl group, Wonder Girls and left the group in January 2010 to pursue her academic career. After three years hiatus from music scene, Sunmi resumed her career as a soloist in August 2013 with her first digital single, "24 Hours".
As a bonus, introducing one of the greatest mashup versions, I think, of these two songs made by DJ Dong Woo Kim.
He releases his mashups on Youtube. I am a huge follower of his channel.

제가 요즘 자주 듣는 곡들입니다. 특히 프라이머리가 작곡한 엄정화의 엔딩크레딧은 며칠째 무한반복해서 듣고 있네요.
엔딩크레딧은 말할 것도 없이 좋죠ㅎㅎ전 선미의 '가시나'에 꽂혀서 한동안 그것만 들었네요ㅎㅎ
