Kosovo determined not to abolish the tax that blocked Serbia
The Kosovo Government's decision to impose 100 percent customs tariff on products originating in Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, aside from reflecting political relations between Pristina and Belgrade, has revived the dilemma if the CEFTA Agreement was properly implemented during years.
Representatives of the business community and former Kosovo Government officials have asked the competent authorities to renegotiate this agreement, as according to them, Kosovo is not treated equal with the member countries and at the same time the agreement was signed at an inappropriate time when it was represented by the United Nations Administration - UNMIK, and as such, in their view, in most cases has damaged the Kosovo economy.
