Updated: Korea "war" forecast - no war will happen
Our final analysis is that there will be no strike on Korea, or a war in Korea.
Korea is still a client state of China. Kim Jong-Un, 김정, will not act against direct instructions of the Chinese government.
It is being too aggressive to think that China's goal is the destabilization of America. Instead, the Chinese goal is to weaken America in the Far East in those areas where America may interfere with China's goals.
Kim's actions are intended to push the line, with China being able to play "the good cop". America will either back down from statements made, such as the "fire and fury" statement which was not followed up on, or China will step in and "defuse" a situation they in reality have control over. Either direction is pre-set to weaken America's position in the East, and the news stories have already been written for both directions.
There is more realistic opinion in this hearing than there is from anything that has come out of the Bush or Obama Presidential administrations. The Trump Presidential administration is being run by the same people.

Chinese infiltration of our government has been on both a government track and a private track. The infiltration of our government became a process under the Clinton Presidential administration.

There are no good answers for the Korea situation, and none that the United States can take. The "good" side of this is that there be no war, just lots of blustering intended to make America look bad whichever action is taken.
The very basic question is how far does Chinese expansion go?
Is it just a cold war just to increase the tension?
yes. we can not say for certain what Trump's intentions are, but we know what the Chinese intentions are and the history of the Kim family. The tension is intended to improve China's position and weaken America's postion

On average war is not advantageous for the nation...any nation.
Admittedly the weapons merchants might not agree.
If you look at the advances China has made in the last few decades..
why would they want to jeopardize it with war?
How many nukes would it take to negate everything that they have done?
