Bener Meriah Regent, Ahmadi and Gayo Lues Regent, Muhammad Amru also promoted Gayo coffee at the biggest specialty coffee exhibition in the world titled Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) Coffee Expo in Seattle, USA.

Head of Bens Meriah Public Relations Protocol Sub-Office, Ruslan Ramadhan said Gayo coffee will be exhibited at the Aceh Government Stand during the event. The two leaders of the Arabica coffee producing region joined the Gayo coffee producer delegation at the exhibition which took place at the Washington Convention Center building from 19 to 22 April 2018.

Stand is prepared with a variety of taste test equipment so that every visitor who comes can test the quality of Gayo Arabica coffee exhibited there. The Indonesian delegation also prepares promotional materials for the opportunity to conduct direct meetings with prospective buyers in an effort to increase the export of Gayo Arabica coffee in the world market.

Regent of Bener Meriah Ahmadi and Regent Gayo Lues Muhammad Amru, as reported by Antara, has also held a business meeting with Vice President Starbuck discussing trade cooperation between the two sides.

SCA Coffee Expo is the biggest specialty coffee exhibition in the world. This event brings coffee entrepreneurs from various countries around the world from producers, buyers, and the coffee processing industry. While for the coffee producers from various countries are given the opportunity to showcase the seed coffee seed in each stand provided.

The Indonesian delegation was represented by five coffee producers from Gayo Highlands, namely Arinagata Cooperative, PT Meukat Komuditi Gayo, PT Orangutan Coffee Lestari, Cooperative Redelong Organic and Gayo Coffee Coffee Cooperative.

Also present were delegates: Head of the Investment and Licensing Service Office of Aceh Pintu, Iskandar, Head of Aceh Tourism Office Amiruddin, and Indonesian Trade Attaché to America, Reza Pahlevi.

Furthermore, the Indonesian delegation is also scheduled to follow the event Coffee Promotion Event in Vancouver, Canada, on 24-25 April 2018 ago. The event will later connect Gayo coffee producers with buyers in Canada to open opportunities for cooperation so Gayo coffee can be exported directly to the country.
