Bottling Day

So it's been a week since brew day,

And the booch is tasting quite beautiful :) A little tangy, a little sweet, a perfect balance!

I brew my booch quite strongly, getting very bit of tea out of my bags before composting them. Hence the super dark colour LoL

I bottled off just three today, saving the rest for my starter for the next batch and some juice for the hotels. Normally I get about 5 large bottles.

First, I was super excited to try my dehydrated rhubarb!!!

I picked, chopped and dehydrated this a couple months ago and have been itching to use it as a kombucha flavouring!

I hope it's good!! :)

Next I cut some lemons and threw some in there, lemon is a great kombucha flavour :)

And third, I had this juice open in the fridge and decided to try it.

It's from concentrate though so I'm not sure it will mix well. Oh well, I'll find out in a few days!! :)

I know most people get pretty set in their way of brewing but I'm still always experimenting! I started brewing many years ago but still love to try different things!
