Kombucha Microscope Recording - What is in Kombucha?

This video is recorded with a phase contrast microscope, showing the bacteria forms floating around in one drop of kombucha.

Kombucha is a fermented tea that is packed with vitamin B, antioxidants and probiotics. All the weird elements you see in this video are probiotics.
They are helpful bacteria that your body depends on for many tasks. Gut health is one of the main results of a stabilized and healthy probiotic flora.
You can also see some black particles. these are bacteria forms that haven't matured yet.
Looking at my own kombucha brew i noticed that they started developing as black strands, before becoming fully developed bacteria.

I prefer organic kombucha. I also make my own kombucha with coconut sugar and honey. (I stay away from processed sugar).
