Thursday Kolam

This kolam is drawn on Thursdays to honor the navagraha (planet) Guru (Jupiter). It creates beneficial energies to bring wisdom, intelligence and longevity to all who see it.

Tee hee, just kidding. Here it is sans cat...but she did eat one of the flowers!

Does anyone happen to know what flower this is? I looked it up years ago and now I can't remember. It looks like it could be a primrose but it isn't. I think it might be a native to Colorado.
